Who we are

The Association for Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy (Föreningen för psykoanalytisk psykoterapi) was founded in 1991 and works as an interest group for its members, i.e. the psychotherapists of the association. Through the national network, the association is a member of EFPP (European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector).

All members of the association have an officially qualified education required for working as a psychotherapist. Our psychotherapists are located all over the Swedish speaking parts of Finland. They work with all age groups and in three languages: English, Swedish and Finnish.

All our therapists are certified by both Valvira (National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health) and Kela (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland).
